Tackling the unexpected
to keep your business going.

When customers depend on the product we supply to run their business, we leave no stone unturned. In late 2016, supply issues, combined with delayed cargoes and unexpected plant maintenance left many Australian manufacturers scratching for every kg of PVC they could lay their hands on.

At Primaplas we proved once again size and connections matter in the plastics industry. Our team were able to satisfy two large production facilities to avoid any significant downtime. We juggled our ASYNL stocks on the ground and on the water to prevent any customers from having to compromise on their operations.

Reacting swiftly and managing our internal resources to provide a solution is engrained in the DNA of Primaplas; it’s what we do every day.

The true value of a reliable
global network

When the unexpected happens is when we rise above everyone else. Back in 2005 Hurricane Katrina delayed US vessels for customers around the globe. Working directly with leading suppliers in Indonesia allowed our logistics team to schedule a large delivery of raw materials within 10 days to keep one of our customers’ operations running.

We managed to cut down a 2-3 week process by leveraging our connections in Jakarta Port, our existing relationship with supplier PT Asahimas and the expertise of a dedicated team. Direct, timely communication with all parties involved, most importantly the customer, allowed us to book vessel space, cut lead shipping time and clear all cargo at the destination port.

Our agile service enabled the manufacture operation to run uninterrupted and contribute to reinforce Primaplas’ reputation in the industry as industry experts working for you.
